ABOUT MIRADOR

MIRADOR is a Belgian atelier dedicated to vintage patch culture. We collect, curate and transform vintage embroidered patches from the 1970s–1980s — from ski resorts, racing teams, travel souvenirs and beyond. Some pieces remain untouched. Others are reworked into unique objects, assembled by hand in our atelier.

OUR STORY

Mirador began as a personal collection.

Over the years, we gathered vintage patches found in flea markets, forgotten stocks and old collections — each carrying its own history.

What started as collecting naturally evolved into creating.

Today, MIRADOR brings together archive and design, combining vintage pieces with original creations developed in our atelier.

OUR APPROACH

Every piece starts with a selection.

We choose patches for their graphic identity, their origin and their story — not just their age.

From there, we either preserve them as collectible objects or give them a second life through new creations.

Each product reflects a balance between heritage and contemporary design.

THE ATELIER

Everything is designed, assembled or curated from our atelier in Belgium.

From sourcing to production, we keep a hands-on approach — working on small series, limited pieces and one-of-a-kind objects.

WHY MIRADOR

Because we believe objects should carry meaning.

Not mass-produced items, but pieces with a past, a story and a character.
